Good Morning, Archers!
We are thrilled to share that the AIMS DECA chapter has accomplished two groundbreaking "firsts" for New Mexico, setting the bar higher than ever for student excellence in business and leadership competitions.
First, AIMS DECA has become the first chapter in New Mexico history to have 100% of its competitive members qualify for the state competition based on their district performance. That’s right—all 50 of our students are advancing to the next level of competition! This incredible achievement highlights the dedication, talent, and teamwork of our DECA chapter, as well as the strength of our school community.
Second, for the first time in New Mexico DECA’s history, a student scored a perfect 100% on the business curriculum exam. Congratulations to Pearl Nguyen for this extraordinary accomplishment!
In addition, several students earned High Testing Achievement Awards for their outstanding performance on the exams:
Pearl Nguyen
Kailynn Hernandez
Haasika Jagirapu
Elie Bourg
Makenna Ramon
William Orr
David Brooke
Aja Patel
Over the past two weeks, our DECA members have shown tremendous perseverance, staying late after school to complete two challenging exams as part of their District-level competition. This is no small feat, especially as it coincided with preparing for final exams. Many of these students are first-year competitors, making their success even more impressive.
Please join us in congratulating these amazing students for their hard work, dedication, and groundbreaking achievements. When you see them, be sure to cheer them on as they prepare to represent AIMS DECA at the state level.
Go Archers!
