Good Afternoon Parents and Students,
As part of service learning for AIMS this year, we will again be participating in the 2023 Balloon Fiesta Recycling Program. Below is a link to sign up for the event. We will need parent volunteers to drive and supervise groups of 4 students. The shift hours will be during Balloon Fiesta in the morning and the evening from 4:30am-9:30am and 4:30pm-9:30pm. The task is to divide the teams between two halves of the park to empty recycle bins that are located across the park. Each vehicle will be given a parking pass at the front of the park and free admission to the event. Further instructions will be sent once we have finalized the volunteer schedule. Parents and students, please leave your cell number when you sign up as we will need to contact everyone on the event day.

If a student signs up for a shift that is during school hours, they will be excused from their classes during that shift but are expected back after the shift ends. Students must be in good academic standing to miss their first period. Those who participate will receive 5 hours per shift of service learning.
Let me know if you have any questions,
